About the Book - Global Thirst by John R. Wennersten

What is the book Global Thirst about?

Global Thirst focuses on the increasing problem of global water scarcity. We live in a time when the plentiful supply of water that we have been used to will be a thing of the past. Surging population, rampant use of water in irrigation in both the developed and developing countries as well as industrial and urban use, mean that we can no longer count on an adequate supply of water in many areas of the world. Even in areas like the United States we are having water shortages and growing problems with safe drinking water and public sanitation.
